Travel south on Mission Street in Wenatchee, crossing Crawford on the road to Mission Ridge or Squilchuck State Park.  Turn left on Terminal Avenue until you come to Simmons.  Turn left on Simmons and go to the end of the road,  Follow the main trail one block east.
The stone was placed by family.  The original grave of Anna Marie Meyers was located here.  It was 6' stone with the name "Simmons" on it that had been pushed over at the South Wenatchee site.  Half of the stone is now at Wenatchee City Cemetery, Section H, 141-12. Anna Marie Meyers b. Jan 19, 1819 Old Mark Germany  d. Jun 26, 1892 Wenatchee, WA.
"73 yrs 5 mos 7 days. Wife of William  Meyer, Great Great Grandmother of Preston Simmons; Great Grandmother of Minnie Simmons, Doctor Minnie. "Mother you are gone from us but not forgotten. We place this monument at the grave that friends may know thy burial place."
